Kinney Mining Co. — Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a visit, purchasing a membership, or entering the Kinney Mining Co. property, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions. These terms are a binding agreement between you (“Guest,” “Member,” or “Participant”) and Kinney Mining Co., the property owner and operator.

2. Assumption of Risk

All participants enter the property at their own risk. Kinney Mining Co. is a natural, undeveloped mining area. Terrain may include uneven ground, rocks, holes, vegetation, and wildlife.
You understand and accept full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage to yourself, your guests, or your property while on-site.

Participants are advised to wear proper footwear, protective gear, and exercise caution at all times.

3. Liability Waiver

By entering the site, you agree to release and hold harmless Kinney Mining Co., its owners, affiliates, employees, and partners from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from participation, including but not limited to:

Personal injury or accidents
Property damage or loss
Encounters with wildlife or environmental hazards

Kinney Mining Co. is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

4. Digging Guidelines

All participants must check in by scanning the QR code upon arrival.
Dig only within designated areas.
Refill all holes before leaving the site.
Leave the environment as you found it — no littering, fires, or destruction of vegetation.
You may keep what you find, in accordance with local regulations and site guidelines.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

5. Facilities and Conditions

This is a raw Sedona landscape — there are no restrooms, running water, or waste disposal services.
Guests are responsible for bringing their own supplies, water, and safety equipment.

Kinney Mining Co. reserves the right to close access due to unsafe weather, natural hazards, or maintenance without prior notice.

6. Memberships and Passes

Memberships, passes, and guest coupons are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Use of guest passes or coupons is limited to the terms specified at purchase.
Members are expected to respect the land, follow safety protocols, and represent the community with integrity.

7. Photography and Media

By entering the property, you consent to the use of any photographs or videos taken during your visit for promotional or marketing purposes by Kinney Mining Co., unless a written opt-out is submitted prior to entry.

8. Cancellation and Refund Policy

All sales are final. Refunds are not available due to weather conditions, early departure, or personal changes in schedule.
If Kinney Mining Co. cancels a scheduled dig or event, participants will receive credit toward a future date.

9. Conduct

Respectful behavior is required at all times.
Harassment, vandalism, intoxication, or unsafe behavior will result in immediate removal from the property without refund.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, Yavapai County jurisdiction.

Acknowledgment

By booking, paying for, or entering Kinney Mining Co. property, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms listed above, and that you assume full responsibility for your safety and actions while on the premises.
